  ‘Innergalactic Lover’ is the first of a pair of songs issued by Big Vern Burns under his Boxheater Jackson pseudonym on Alpha Mundo Recordings. A hypnotic slice of proto house/electro disco, it sonically evokes the depth and intensity of the inner belief required in efforts to overcome the demonisations and boundaries imposed by social conditioning, and the ways in which listening to your body as a means of finding the inner peace and power it takes to self heal, as well as how that can resonate to those around you. The track is supported by a very personal and evocative promotional video, created by acclaimed Cornish artist and all round countercultural powerhouse, Liam Jolly.
  
  ‘Innergalactic Lover’ is being released as a means of raising funds for Anne-Marie McLeod who was diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer in 2018. The cancer has subsequently spread to her uterus, ovaries and liver. Anne-Marie has been compelled to undergo life saving stoma surgery, two nephrostomies, two kidney stent procedures and two doses of chemotherapy, as well as being treated for two different infections and E-coli. The funds raised will go to support a range of essential treatments including Mistletoe Therapy, which requires trips to Aberdeen, and dendritic cell therapy, in addition to a range of necessary treatments, therapies and medicines. At a time when the current global pandemic has impacted upon a health service that has been systematically weakened by successive exploitative administrations to the point where cancer treatments have been drastically reduced, your support is now crucial. “Anne-Marie is a uniquely special, caring person, she has worked all her life to help others,” explains Vern. “Now, at the time of her greatest need, her friends and family are rallying round.
